Description:

Ground cars are still the most common transport due to the cost of hovers and flyers.

Vehicular Statistics are Maneuverability, Movement, Range, Scale, Body, Armor, Crew, Passengers, and cargo. Other notes such as style, luxury appointments, and accessories can round out a vehicle description.

Cost Calculation:

(Maneuver plus Move plus Range) x ( Cargo plus scale plus body plus armor plus Range)

Maneuver is base maneuver before adjusting for armor in pips (1D = 3)

Move on Measures Table (use Kilometers per hour at maximum, before reducing for armor)

Range on Measures Table (use hours at maximum speed)

Scale is pips above medium (Typically 6 or 12)

Body is pips

Armor in pips

Cargo on Measures Table (Use Kilograms with crew and passengers calculated at 150 each)

When the calculations for price are done reduce Maneuver code by Armor and reduce speed 10% per 1D of armor. Maximum possible armor/shields is 6D.

Locomotion

Wheeled, displacement hull, and tracked are base cost

Legged and air cushion are double

Groundspeeder and fixed wing are triple

Helicopter and Submarine are quadruple

Jumpjet and hoverjet are quintuple

Airspeeders are x10

Spacecraft are x20

Hyperspace craft are the same cost as spacecraft, but need a separate FTL drive.
