Description:

Armor comes in 4 grades:

Light 150 credits(Subtracts 1D from Damage but is -1D to Physique, Reflexes, and Coordination and -1 Move) Can be made to look like normal clothing for 50 credits (Awareness 15 to spot armor)

Medium 300 credits(Subtracts 2D from Damage but is -2D to Physique, Reflexes, and Coordination and -2 Move) Can be made to look like bulky clothing for 100 credits (Awareness 10 to spot armor)

Heavy 450 credits(Subtracts 3D from Damage but is -3D to Physique, Reflexes, and Coordination and -3 Move) Can not be disguised

Very Heavy 600 credits(Subtracts 4D from Damage but is -4D to Physique, Reflexes, and Coordination and -4 Move) Can not be disguised and is quite bulky looking

Enhancement

Ultralight alloys, exotic materials, power assist, and custom fitting can reduce penalties for armor, but the process is expensive. Add the base cost of the armor to the cost of an armor for each D penalty or move point taken away from the penalties. Making a very heavy power armor with no penalties possible at 10,200 credits.

Stacking and enhancement

Stacking armor adds 1D to the protection of the heaviest armor worn and 1D penalty to Ref, Coo, Phy and -1 Mov on top of the combined penalties for the armor.

Magical enhancements or ultratech shields can add up to 4D to armor values, but no matter the combination armor values never exceed 6D of protection. A Very Heavy Suit worn over a light suit with a +4D spell enhancement and a +4D shield enhancement would subtract 6D from incoming attacks; not 13D.

Sample armors are “Stripped” chassis modelw without any subsystems like optics, targeting, air filtration, and environmental systems.
